If I had to sum you up it could all be said by showing someone a picture of your smile, you would light up a room and you lit up our lives. You may be gone from our home but you are never gone from our hearts. You left behind your sister Rebecca, who although 2 years your senior relied on you for protection and support - you were best friends most of the time and your little brother George. You thought the world of him and he the world of you, although he wasn't two when you collected your wings and left us - he remembers you vividly and talks about you most days. You have two little sisters that were born after you left us, but they know all about you and Im sure you are watching out for them. They have both told us you are in the house . We have kept your Beatrix Potter collection going and add a piece at Birthday's and Christmas, we couldn't leave you out. You were one special little lady, with a wisdom beyond your years, no matter how bad things were you never questioned or complained, you had dignity in your suffering and as your mum I couldn't be more proud to call you my daughter. You were not only my daughter - but you were also my best friend - there will always be a special place in my heart and my life that no one can replace.

6yrs ago today you collected your angel wings and I know today that you will be looking down from above and seeing our tears and love. Although we miss you we celebrate your life, the special memories we all hold keep us going. Tonight we will light sky lanterns and send our love to heaven for you. I miss you every day and words cannot express how much I love you and how priveleged I feel to call myself your mummy xxxx

Loving you always

Time passes but our love for you never fades.We miss you and think about you everyday. We have so many beautiful memories especially of the holidays we shared and the fun we had.
We look at all the photos and see you in the smiles of your sisters and brother and even in your cousins.
We know you are with us always and that one day we will see you again.

Although I cant be with you today, I know you are near. You know how much I miss you. A piece of china on your shelf we put and flowers on your grave but nothing will make up for not sharing this special day.

You were my Daughter Dannii's best friend,I will always remember your visits to us, you were so kind & gentle a true princess! Dannii has your name in a heart that she etched on her headboard & we planted honeysuckle which we Call Alice's plant.We often reminisce times we had with you although short were very fulfilling, you were a wondeful little girl. We moved to kent 4 years ago and of course your plant came with us which florishes year after year and we often look through photo's of you & Dannii which still brings a tear but a big smile too!
You are Forever in our hearts darling, lots & lots of Love Jo xxx

5yrs since you collected your wings

5yrs today you collected your angel wings and although today I will mourn your loss, I will also celebrate your life. I feel privelaged and proud to call myself your mum. You were and are an amazing little girl and I'm sure that you are still bringing joy to all you meet - but a part of my heart will always be with you and no one can ever fill that gap. I am just waiting until the day we meet again and I can give you the biggest hug - I love you Alice now and forever. Take care princess xxx

Hi Alice,
I'm so very sorry that you had to go away from yuor family far, far too soon but I just know that you'll be having the best time in heaven. I hope that you've met our Christi. She's just 9 years old but she also had cancer & your bravery reminds me very much of her. I'm glad she has a 'bigger angel' like you to hang around with & who can take care of her. Keep close to your family & friends who are loving & missing you - especially today but most of all, make sure that you stay happy, smiling & enjoying yourself and have the best birthday party ever sweetheart.
